- The Harbor City Reclamation Project, located in the City of Pasay
The Harbor City Reclamation Project will be developed as a next upgrade in the urban living of Metro Manila in the Philippines and involves the development of two islands in the municipal waters west of Pasay City within Manila Bay. The sand for this project will be sourced from the San Nicolas Shoals Sand Extraction area located in Manila Bay, off Tanza and Naic Municipalities, Cavite Province. The size of the initially permitted borrow area is 1,000 hectares.
- The Manila International Airport Project, located in the Municipality of Bulakan, Province of Bulacan, north of Metro Manila
The Manila International Airport Project is a development Project to construct a new airport to meet the growing demands of Metro Manila and adjacent provinces and complement air traffic operations of the existing and congested Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The Project is located in Bulakan, Bulacan Province, 35km North of Manila and is being developed by San Miguel Aerocity Inc. The sand for this project will be sourced from the San Nicolas Shoals Sand Extraction area located in Manila Bay, off Ternate, Naic, Tanza, Rosario and Novelata Municipalities and will cover approximately 5,000 hectares with a proposed expansion of 3,530 hectares.
For the land development activities, Boskalis will deploy a number of trailing suction hopper dredgers. Boskalis has a rich tradition in creating land all over the world to the highest technical, social and environmental standards. During the construction phase, Boskalis will contribute to the local economy and the project will bring further socio-economic growth to the greater Manila region.
